2010- Build Georgia Awards- Nominee
For Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter- Livestock & Equine Expansion
Presented by: Georgia Branch, Associated General Contractors
Description: The Livestock and Equine Expansion included 9 separate structures to create an entirely new Eastern Entrance for the Fairground Campus in Perry. These multifaceted buildings included a 58,000 square foot Conditioned Arena, a 53,000 square foot Covered Connector Buildings and Covered Practice Ring, a 2,300 square foot Restroom Facility, a 2,400 square foot Ticket Booth and Entrance, a 3,300 square foot Security Building and Entrance Guard Office. Midway through construction ICB modified the seating structure upon the Owner’s request; all while fulfilling the needs of the Owner and ultimately completing the project in time for the 20th annual Georgia National Fair. The Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter sits on a flourishing 1,100+ acre complex, and is the site for copious communal events within Middle Georgia.  

2009- Build Georgia Awards – Merit Award
For Flint Energies Member Service Center

Description: Flint Energies Member Service Center is a two story; class “A” 32,000 square foot building. This eye-catching building is situated on the corner of Russell Parkway and Houston Lake Road on 8 acres of luscious land adorned with extravagant landscaping and distinct water features. Flint Energies is the leading electrical source for Middle Georgia and the building captivates their corporate essence all while enumerating style and quality. ICB was given the opportunity to assist Flint Energies by offering more than one million dollars of cost saving ideas, all of which augmented the original design and kept the overall functionality of the building.

 

2009- Build Georgia Awards- Nominee
For Dillard Hall Renovation
Presented by: Georgia Branch, Associated General Contractors
Description: The Dillard Hall Renovation consisted of the construction of a one story; 12,000 square foot laboratory addition for Middle Georgia College located in Cochran, Georgia. The addition included 4 teaching laboratories for chemistry and biology with associated support rooms and offices. ICB scheduled construction around classes in order to ensure that the construction activities had a minimum impact on the students and personnel.

For Outstanding Business Achievement and Exemplary Service to the Community

Description: ICB was recognized for outstanding business achievement and exceptional service to the community.

2007- Outstanding Construction Management and Quality Construction
For Houston County Superior Courthouse Interior Renovation
Presented by: Houston County Board of Commissioners
Description: The interior renovation at the Superior Courthouse included the build-out of three shell spaces of the 2,600 square feet Commissioners’ Boardroom, 2,500 square feet Courtroom, 1,400 square feet Judge’s Chamber, and a new Lobby Storefront with an automated door addition at the main entryway. ICB conducted all the work around the existing courthouse operations without disruption of regular Court Hearings. The Houston County Board of Commissioners recognized ICB for proving outstanding Construction Management and Quality Construction after completion of the project.

2007- Certificate of Appreciation
For Support of the Student Governmental Affairs Program
Presented by: Warner Robins High School
Description: ICB was recognized for dedication to the education of America’s students through support of the Student Governmental Affairs Program at Warner Robins High School.
