Houston County Annex Building Renovations

Warner Robins, Georgia

The Annex Building Renovation was a multi phase renovation of the existing 38,000 square foot County Administration building. This work included complete remodels in 5 phases spanning the two year period. ICB oversaw all phases of initial design, temporary facilities for the Owner’s in-house personnel, demolition, and construction working closely with the existing facility occupants to make sure that their daily operations continued without interruption.

The interior phases included the remodel of the Board of Commissioners Office and Boardroom, the Tag & Title Office, Planning & Zoning Department, Development Authority Office, several smaller office spaces, restrooms, and common spaces.

The interior finishes included the new partitions and drywall, doors & hardware, drop ceilings, carpet, and VCT flooring. The Boardroom was specifically designed to resemble the new Courtrooms at the Superior Courthouse in Perry with intricate ceiling details to create a layered affect. However, the building models were modified to enhance cost efficiencies and to offer the Owner a quicker project delivery time without adversely impacting the quality of the product.
