Houston County Fire & Emergency Management Complex

Warner Robins, Georgia

Project Details

In the capacity of Construction Manager for this noteworthy endeavor, our team executed comprehensive Design, Pre-Construction, Construction, and Close-out Services. During the Pre-Construction Phase, we meticulously handled budgeting, schedule updates, value engineering, constructability reviews, and cost analysis.

The project’s scope entailed two distinct facilities located on Lake Joy Road: a 1-story, 6,244 square foot Fire Station/EMS, and a 3,914 square foot Emergency Management Complex. The Fire Station/EMS features 4 Engine Bays, thoughtfully arranged to accommodate 3 Fire Trucks and an Ambulance. It encompasses separate living quarters, day rooms, and administrative areas for both the Fire Department and EMS personnel. The Fire Department section is further equipped with amenities like a Gear Room, Emergency Control Radio Room, and 4 Bedrooms.

The Emergency Management Complex boasts a “hardened” construction design, including a robust concrete foundation, concrete masonry walls, and a reinforced concrete roof structure complemented by “Impact Rated” Glass. Within, you’ll find well-appointed Administrative Offices, a Break Room, IT Room, and a capacious Conference Room tailored for over 50 attendees. This space is enhanced with integrated data and internet connectivity, facilitating swift and effective First Response Management Services during emergencies.
