Macon-Bibb County Fire Station Jeffersonville Road Fire Station #111

Macon, Georgia

Project Details

ICB collaborated with Macon-Bibb County to provide general contracting services for this fire station, encompassing construction and closeout phases. The facility, spanning 6,190 sq ft over one story, is situated on a 2.93-acre site within one of Macon’s oldest historic districts.

In line with Macon-Bibb’s emergency response infrastructure requirements, Station #11 boasts heavy-duty concrete paving, asphalt paving, load-bearing masonry walls, and a combination of metal stud framing, along with Class “A” steel and wood roof trusses.

Macon Fire Station #111 comprises two spacious engine bays featuring epoxy floor coating systems and a comprehensive vehicle exhaust system. Furthermore, the facility accommodates six dormitory-style bedrooms, two officer bedrooms, a locker room, kitchen, living room, dining room, laundry area, and a conference room.

The building’s exterior design harmonizes with Macon-Bibb’s fire stations across the county. Noteworthy features include large bay engine doors with glass, brick veneer, a shingle roof, metal soffit/trim, and covered entries.
