Project Details
In our role as the Construction Manager for the Warner Robins Law Enforcement Center, our team oversaw the complete construction process, from pre-construction to closeout. Our pre-construction services encompassed budgeting, schedule management, value engineering, life-cycle cost analysis, and constructability reviews. The project involved the demolition of existing facilities on-site and the construction of a new 2-story, 44,000 square foot Law Enforcement Facility.
The scope of work encompassed various components, including a Sally Port, Intake/Booking Area, Finger Print Area, Holding Cells, Inmate Storage, Bonding Offices, Armory, SWAT Team Gear Room, K9 Room/Kennel, K9 Office, Break Rooms, Property/Evidence Storage, Weapons Room, Roll Call/Training Room, Detective Offices, Inmate Interview Rooms, Dispatch Offices, Traffic Division Suite of Offices, Quarter Master Offices and Storage, Secure Files, Warrants Division Offices, Gym, Restrooms, Locker Rooms, Weapons Testing/Live Firing Lab, Evidence Processing Area, Administrative Offices/Conference Rooms, Decontamination Rooms, Public Elevator, Gas Chromatography Labs, and Forensics Labs.
The structural aspects encompassed a range of components, including Cast-in-Place Foundation, Structural Steel Frame, Bar Joist, Metal Deck, and Light-Gauge Metal Framing Systems. The building’s exterior featured a Fluid-Applied Weather Barrier, Storefront Framing/Glazing System, Curtainwall System, Brick Veneer, Cast Stone, Modified Bitumen Roofing System, Equipment Screens, Architectural Lights, and more.
Interior finishes included Metal Stud Framing, Bullet-Proof Wall Protection, Drywall, Acoustical Ceiling Systems, Architectural Cabinetry & Casework, Architectural Trim & Paneling, Pre-Finished Doors, Sound Doors, Flooring, Toilet Accessories, and Blinds.
We also oversaw the installation of critical building systems, including Fire Suppression, Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, Data, Communications, Electronic Safety/Security, Access Control, and Audio-Visual Recording Systems. The HVAC system included a Direct Digital Control System for comprehensive temperature control and event monitoring. The electrical system featured Access Control at various points, and the facility was equipped with a state-of-the-art Audio-Visual Recording System with CCTV throughout.
Throughout the project, our team ensured strict adherence to standards, effective system integration, and meticulous attention to detail to deliver a modern, functional, and secure Law Enforcement Center meeting the project’s stringent requirements.
